Singles - Hard - Issue 573

Acid Nightmare (Blademasterz Remix)

The original track is almost two decades old now, and is one of the most seminal acid tracks of all time with it’s dark sinister vibe fusing the sounds of hard trance, acid techno and early hardstyle. The Blademasterz remix takes a very old skool approach with the first break, staying faithful to the original and dropping with a vintage gated reverb kick. The second break adds a trademark Blademasters dark melody and pitched kick on the drop. A great remix, that sounds very old skool with production modern enough to work alongside the hits of today.

D-Block & S-te-Fan

'Angels & Demons'

After a few years away from focusing on the hardstyle scene pushing their DBSTF project, the guys are back in full hardstyle mode and are set to release more euphoric bangers over the coming months! This summer anthem features a harmonic female vocal, soaring uplifting melodies and bundles of energy, made for those peak-time festival moments! Great to see these guys back and on top of their game!

'Embrace The Sea'

Having now cemented himself firmly at the top of the global hardstyle scene, Atmozfears productions stand out from the pack, always fusing sub genres together to keep his sound fresh and forward thinking. This time he’s taken over the WISH outdoor anthem with a faster harder take on the subground sound in the lead up to the main breakdown where the epic festival anthem melodies come through with glitchy tape effect added to the main melody keep this fresh, which definitely stands out compared to all the festival anthems kicking about at the moment too!

Keep It Up

The melody man is back with another hardstyle hit. This time offering a syncopated rap and booming distorted 909 kick as the primary hook. The melody is more of a classic monophonic lead loop rather than the usual euphoric chord progressions we’ve come to love from Frontliner, but this approach certain fits the vibe of the track better and only goes to show the range of music talent from the Dutch super-producer.

'Great Spirit (Wildstylez Remix)'

Armada (NL)

One of the biggest dance tracks in recent memories, it was only a matter of time before we got a hardstyle mix. This remix has been tearing up hardstyle dancefloors for some time amongst the hardstyle illuminati, but now is getting an official release. All the charm of the original and a pumping tempo with pitched kick to boot. A sure fire hit on the dancefloor

Javi Boss & broken Minds ft Popr3b3l & Diesel

'Here I Am'

This is one of my favourite labels at the moment, releasing a diverse selection of fresh, freestyle beats which murder dancefloors worldwide. This time they welcome Spanish artists Javi Boss & Broken Minds for this sing-along vocal uptempo hardcore release which oozes energy from the very start combining euphoric, uplifting breakdowns with heavy, straight, banging drops!

E- Force & Radical Redemption

'Screw Up'

E Force’s latest artist album has been causing quite a stir on the raw style scene in 2017 with so many huge tracks which will stand the test of time to become anthems in their own right. This collaboration with Radical Redemption features distorted and heavily dissected kick drums, chaotic energetic melodies and great use of the chopped up vocal sample.
