Carl has been a music journo since the dawn of time. He started writing about electronic dance music in the early ‘90s, and fell in with the DJ Mag family about 20 years ago. As well as being the current editor of the flagship UK mag, Carl is also a DJ and has had a go at being an artist manager, producer, promoter, label boss, radio presenter and lecturer too.

Despite scoffing when his school teachers told him he should be a journalist, Ben joined the DJ Mag team as a staff writer in summer 2016. Now the deputy editor an co-running the DJ Mag Bunker live streams, he spends his time enjoying jungle and techno, long raves in the dark and incoherently mumbling about nightclubs. 27/M/London, GSOH, etc.

‘The’ Mick Wilson Tech Editor of DJ Mag was originally one half of the successful DJ duo 'Parks & Wilson' and has enjoyed a successful career in the dance music industry, with over twenty-five years under his belt. He has been lucky to play at some of the scene’s most iconic clubs and venues as well as producing some very good records, he also knows a thing or two about music technology…

Geordie born and bred. Migrated down to London in November 2010 and started at DJ Mag a month later.
Part of DJ duo Blackhall & Bookless mainly playing and producing music on a more techno based tip. He also run a club night called Jaunt which hosts events in Newcastle and London as well as the label Jaunt Records.

Heath joined DJ Mag in 1999 as a sales executive. He has worked with four different owners of the magazine and all four editors. He now heads up the commercial team.
Favourite drink: A nice single malt on ice.
Iain received his dance music education in Bristol before moving to join the DJ Mag team in London five years ago. He now manages advertising and media partnerships and occasionally finds the time to embarrass himself on dance floors around the world.

After freelancing as a music journalist and launching her own music column in a fashion magazine, Rasa moved to London and joined DJ Mag as a booking/project manager where she oversees the recently-created series of interview, DJ Mag Panels. She is also a singer-songwriter and producer at music project ‘Rasa’.

Moving to London five years ago from Brisbane, Australia, Charlotte started her career as a fashion journalist before joining DJ Mag as digital editor in early 2015. Alongside generating content for djmag.com, she also edits DJ Mag’s seasonal print magazine in Ibiza, alongside running disco-focused event brand Chase The Compass and throwing parties in New York, Sydney, Barcelona, Dublin and beyond.

Simon joined DJ Mag in 2008, miraculously being employed after turning up at the wrong office for his interview. These days, he looks after digital and brand partnerships at the mag, while juggling the twin responsibilities of being a new father and following Arsenal FC.

Coming from the outskirts of London Jon dropped out of school to come and work for DJ Mag in the Digital Media department. Jon works alongside the other members of the digital team to run the DJ Mag social platforms and also runs the live streams from around the world.

Native New Yorker and raver scribe, Sarah heads up the US arm of DJ Mag, and travels the globe bringing awareness to brands across multi-cultural landscapes. She cut her teeth as a reporter for the NY Post, BlackBlook, Billboard and countless other media outlets. Notably, launching grassroots electronic music publication, Elektro, she also single-handedly integrated dance into the legendary hip-hop/urban focused, VIBE before becoming the DJ Mag fam’s adopted token Yankee.

Born and bred in New York City, Erin grew up in the golden rave days of the late ‘90s, sneaking into clubs like Twilo, Tunnel and Limelight, and any illegal warehouse that would have her. Yes, there are photographs of UFO pants and pacifiers. No, she will not be running for public office. A classically trained clarinetist in her youth, she promptly ditched woodwinds for a set of Technics and began DJing in her teens. She has played in NYC, Berlin, WMC Miami and at Burning Man. Erin’s career path eventually landed her on US national television, where she was a sports & entertainment presenter on SHOWTIME, NBC Sports, CBS Sports and CNBC, and covered the 2014 FIFA World Cup. When she’s not crying over Arsenal’s horrible choices, she edits and writes DJ Mag’s US edition.

Ben has been a devotee of house music since first hearing Playing. With Knives on Stu Allen's Key 103 radio show in Manchester, before he was old enough to be found legally on licensed premises. He once went on a road trip with Pete Tong and David Guetta, and he's interviewed everyone from Masters at Work to Nina Kraviz, Sasha to Derrick May. And he's only been turned away from Berghain once.
Albums and Grime Editor
Born and bred Londoner Felicity originally joined DJ Mag as a staff writer - unintentionally sparking some beef between DJ Sneak and Jackmaster on her first day in the office. She has since started editing the albums/compilations section in print as a freelancer, as well as the grime reviews page - tending to favour anything that runs along at 140 beats per minute.

Hip Hop & Trap Editor
Neil has been writing about hip hop music for a quarter of a century, is the author of 'The Periodic Table Of Hip Hop', 'Eastern Spring' and 'Bring The Noise: The Stories Behind Hip Hop's Biggest Songs' and is constantly being told by his kids to turn his music down. He lives in his hometown Coventry and should really have grown up by now.

As a designer Mark has worked for clients ranging from Tate, Serpentine Galleries and Imperial War Museums through to Lovebox, HMV and Daniel Avery. As a DJ he’s spent the last 18 years obsessively building a music collection that centres around disco and house. He DJs regularly across London and hosts 2 radio shows.
