Seoul’s Gangnam district is probably familiar to a few — well, over two and a half billion if Psy’s YouTube views are anything to go by. In the last few years though its premier club, Octagon, has been gaining its own international reputation too, bringing big-room thrills to its subterranean lair.
Nestled beneath the New Hilltop Hotel close to the Han River in the stunning city of Seoul, Octagon was once a three-storey basement karaoke bar but now resembles an industrial warehouse reminiscent of ‘90s factory raves, in the UK.
With a wealth of DJs and a diverse group of incredible music venues, Canada has an established and respected dance music scene that makes it a venerable challenger to the rest of North America.
In this year's Top 100 Clubs poll – powered by Miller Genuine Draft – two Canadian clubs made the final ranking, with another two just outside the final 100.

Top 100 Clubs, powered by Miller Genuine Draft, is our annual celebration of global nightclub culture. The list features some of the world's most exciting clubs, in the world's biggest cities, but also makes way for intimate, quirky or out-of-the-way venues, which have a charm all of their own.

Voting is now open for Top 100 Clubs, powered by Miller Genuine Draft. The global nightclub poll, now in its 10th year, is the definitive guide to the world’s best dancefloors.
Voting runs from today (13th December) through until 11:59pm GMT on Thursday 14th February. The results will be announced via an online countdown and commemorative print edition of the magazine, translated into over 15 languages.
